MARCOGAZ deals with several technical works in the midstream and downstream gas systems, related to gas infrastructure, gas utilisation, sustainability and new gases, including hydrogen, biomethane and other low-carbon gases. The technical part of the work involves permanent monitoring of safety aspects at all levels of the gas value chain, including gas appliances and infrastructure. The transmission and distribution sectors also require several technical safety and environmental procedures to ensure network resilience and to assess the impact of the acceptance of new gases into the network.
